About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Inclusive Learning to join our team at Aspire People, supporting children in Key Stage 2 with EHCPs in a caring environment. This role involves working closely with the class teacher and contributing to providing high-quality educational activities and experiences through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 award in support work in schools or equivalent, as well as a commitment to promoting independence and personal development while maintaining high expectations of behaviour. They will be expected to establish warm, supportive relationships with pupils, helping them feel safe and enjoy learning.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Support children with learning and wellbeing to reach their full potential
  • Contribute to planning and delivering educational activities and experiences
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils and promote independence and personal development
  • Level 3 award in support work in schools or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths and English Level 4/C or above qualification (desirable)
  • Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEND or ASD/ADHD/Non-Verbal
