Learning Disability Team Worker

We are looking for a skilled Learning Disability Team Worker to join our team. This part-time (22 hours) role offers an opportunity to provide intensive support to adults with complex or fluctuating needs.
- The ideal candidate will work with adults using a person-centred approach to promote independence and well-being.
- By applying social work principles in partnership with adults and their carers, the successful candidate will empower them to make informed decisions about their lives.
- This role requires identifying and addressing potential risks and barriers to care, working closely with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach.
- The Learning Disability Team Worker will engage with adults and carers using a collaborative approach to develop and implement tailored support plans.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practice and legislation is crucial for this position.
- The selected candidate will participate in training activities and contribute to the development of the team.
- Pursuing ongoing learning and development opportunities is essential for success in this role.
- Undertaking health and safety duties commensurate with the job is also required.
- The role may involve performing other duties and training as required.
A salary of £**35,000 - £40,000 per annum**, depending on experience, is offered for this position. Requirements include a social Work Qualification or equivalent and a commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
