Social Worker for Learning Disabilities

About the Role
">We are currently looking to recruit an additional 8 full-time Social Workers into our Learning Disability/Autism Team.
">This is a great opportunity for committed and hardworking qualified Social Workers with Adult Social Work experience working with people with Learning Disabilities/Autism.
">You will need to be motivated and flexible with high professional standards, sound knowledge of current legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Continuing Health Care, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Community DOLS/LPS.
">You will work with vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities/Autism, having some knowledge around physical disability, people with profound & complex needs, carers, and the wider community.
">Your responsibilities include undertaking safeguarding investigations, mental capacity assessments, best interest decisions, carrying out outcome-focused assessments, support planning, and meeting care and support needs.
">Requirements:
">- Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent
- Social Work England Registration
- 2 years post-qualifying experience
- An enhanced barring DBS check will be required
Salary Information
">The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (37 hours per week).
