We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Learning Assistant and Care Worker to join our Academic Support Team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and well-being of students with special educational needs.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that students receive the best possible education and care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs and be able to adapt to different situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise student activities to ensure their safety and facilitate their development
  • Use specialist skills to meet the physical and emotional needs of pupils
  • Assist in planning work programs for individuals and groups of children
Requirements
  • GCSE qualification in Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £22,366 per annum. We offer full training to support progression to TA2 status within 6 months.
