Education Support Professional Wanted:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced education support professional to join our team at a Primary School in the Harborne area of Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and providing individualized care.

About the Role:
The successful applicant will work closely with a young child with SEND needs, creating a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (or similar).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Working 1:1 with a SEND pupil to develop personalized learning plans
  • Ensuring the child's safety and well-being at all times
  • Collaborating with teachers to implement lesson plans and adapt instruction as needed
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to help the child manage challenging behaviors
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements and Salary:
Experience working with children with SEN, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations. A caring and calm demeanor is essential for this role. Estimated salary range for this position is £22,500-£30,000 per annum.
