SEN Teaching Assistant for Autism Support

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism in a Good school in North Birmingham.
Job OverviewThis long-term role involves working with children aged 3-16 years who have an ASD diagnosis and associated complex behaviors. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 or 2 qualification in Teaching & Learning, extensive experience of working with children on a one-to-one basis, and a strong understanding of SEN.
Responsibilities- Supporting teachers in the classroom to promote inclusive learning environments
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Maintaining accurate records and reports as required
- Degree in Education or related field
- At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
