Job Title: Full-Time SEMH Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Full-Time SEMH Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

  • To deliver tailored academic and emotional support to students with SEMH needs, ensuring they reach their full potential
  • To encourage positive behaviour and resilience among students, promoting a safe and nurturing environment for learning and development
  • To collaborate with the wider team to implement individualised learning plans, tailoring educational experiences to meet student needs
  • To work closely with families and staff to develop and maintain effective relationships, providing a sense of security and stability for students

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs is essential, with a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach is required, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families is crucial, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual respect
