**Career Opportunity for a Residential Support Specialist**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Residential Support Specialist. This role involves working with young people aged 8-18 who have Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support, encouragement, and guidance to enable the young people to develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally in a safe and caring environment.

Fully Funded Training: We offer the opportunity to obtain a fully funded NVQ Level 4 qualification in Children and Young People.

About the Role:

  • Provide support and guidance to young people to encourage their participation in activities.
  • Maintain a homely and friendly environment within the residential home.
  • Deal with challenging behaviours when necessary.
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
  • Support young people to promote their independence and well-being.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People is desirable.
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment is desirable.
  • Full Driving Licence is essential for transporting children at times.

Salary: £25,181.52 per annum (including sleep allowance)
