**About The Role**

As a Residential Support Worker at Branch Out Support Services your skills and expertise will have the opportunity to make a positive, transformative impact on young people. Through mentoring and supporting young people to develop holistic life skills, participating in activities, helping with homework and being a positive role model.

We aim to improve young people’s self-esteem so they believe in themselves and feel confident enough to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

**Applicants should have**
- Genuine commitment to working and supporting Young People to achieve their full potential.
- Can build genuine and trusting relationships with young people
- Have the resilience to cope with challenging behaviour and circumstances
- Be able to motivate young people and encourage their independence
- Have high personal and professional standards
- Flexibility to undertake shift working including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and occasional sleep-ins.

**Recruitment Process**

Applicants will ideally already be on the DBS Update Service; if this is not the case Branch Out will carry out a DBS (police) check prior to starting.

**Closing Date**

Branch Out Support Services has a minimum age requirement of 21 for roles working directly with children and young people in our residential and semi-independent Homes.

**Salary**: £16,738.00-£29,013.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
