About This Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Unity Residential Care Ltd. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our young residents.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families, and our colleagues. You will be responsible for implementing individualized care plans, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents, and promoting a safe and supportive living environment.

In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide 24/7 care and support. You will be expected to maintain accurate records, participate in training and development opportunities, and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the home.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid DBS certificate
