Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Childcare Support Specialist to work as a Residential Care Officer at Alfristons School. The successful candidate will support pupils with their daily needs, promote positive relationships, and encourage independence and social skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Uphold the standards and expectations of Alfristons School.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to provide a safe and secure environment.
  • Develop and implement a planned programme of evening activities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Caring for Children and Young People or be willing to work towards this qualification. Desirable experience includes working in a mainstream or special school, preferably with children with special needs.

Salary and Benefits
