Reports To: Chris Kelly – Director - Business Development

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Bid Manager to spearhead our UK market entry strategy for EasyGo. As the primary point of contact, you will drive the end-to-end bid management process, ensuring successful proposal submissions tailored to UK market standards and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bid Strategy and Planning
  • Develop a comprehensive bid strategy aligned with our UK market goals, incorporating market research and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Lead the development and submission of high-quality tenders, from qualification to contract handover, adhering to client specifications and deadlines.
  • Manage the bid preparation process, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
  • Write compelling responses that effectively convey our strengths and unique selling points, leveraging your expertise in proposal development.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal team members, to secure support and critical input for bids.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenders with clients, addressing questions and providing clear, detailed responses.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with each tender, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop a framework for capturing tender feedback and apply learnings to enhance future tenders.
  • Prior experience working in the EV, automotive, renewable energy, or technology sectors is preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bid management experience, ideally in the specified sectors.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UK tendering process and public/private sector bidding.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Analytical Abilities: Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders to drive effective teamwork.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field, with advanced degrees or certifications in bid/proposal management a plus.
