About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Neighbourhood Officer to join our property team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tenancy management services, providing excellent customer care, and making a positive impact in our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Show customers around empty properties, conduct lettings, and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
  • Customer Support: Provide advice and assistance to residents on housing matters, including information on legal rights, responsibilities, and welfare concerns.
  • Community Engagement: Be the point of contact for housing management services on a patch, enforcing the Association's conditions of tenancy, and working with local partners to build neighbourhood resilience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service, meet performance objectives, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driver's License: Essential for field-based work.
  • Housing Experience: Previous experience in housing, lettings, or social housing is desirable.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and manage confidential information.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Personal Qualities: Personal resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
