Murray Recruitment is seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our team
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in procurement to work closely with our finance team and contribute to the smooth operation of our business.
- Raise and issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Source and obtain quotations for materials and services as required.
- Match goods received notes to purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the purchase ledger team to resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with business unit personnel, suppliers, and sub-contractors as necessary.
- Assist with maintaining the CAFM system.
- Gather data for business reporting purposes.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- Salary negotiable based on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with one hour lunch break.
- Office-based or hybrid setup available after training.
- 35 days of holiday per year.
