About the Role
This full-time position involves working under the direction of professional staff to assist with patient care and implement safe practices in the theatre complex.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with skin and pressure area care
- Help patients mobilise and move positions to promote comfort and protect skin integrity
- Communicate effectively with the theatre team to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A functional level of English and maths
- A Care Certificate in Acute Care
- Previous experience working as a healthcare support worker within the NHS for at least six months
- Ability to be flexible and meet the needs of patients, the team, and the service
