Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic HR professional to join the University of Leeds as Interim Deputy Head of Human Resources. As part of the People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the University's strategic aims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support and professional HR expertise to the Heads of Human Resources.
  • Carry an operational workload and deputise for the Head of HR as required.
  • Develop and implement a development plan to support your growth to a Head (or equivalent role).

Team Management

You will lead and manage the hub HR teams, providing leadership and management to ensure the delivery of a high-quality and strategically aligned service.

Service Improvement

You will support the implementation of our new service delivery model as part of the CPS programme, setting the foundations for developing business partnering capability and implementing a consistent approach to our service activity.
