This is a pivotal position within the People and Culture team, requiring strong leadership skills to manage and develop your team to deliver high-quality services. The successful candidate will have significant experience in HR gained in a large and complex organisation, operating at a senior level.

The ideal candidate will strengthen our service leadership and delivery, enhancing institutional performance and directly supporting the University's Research and Innovation, Student Education, and International strategic priorities through innovative organisational development and change management.

To achieve these goals, members of the HR Leadership team work together to define and deliver shared objectives, targeting resources to meet internal priorities and external requirements. This involves creating a culture of trusted partnership, combining strategic local HR leadership with specialist expertise.

A competitive salary of £56,021-£64,914 p.a. (dependent on experience) reflects the importance of this role in supporting our academics and staff.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 26 days holiday plus 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom, generous pension scheme options, life assurance, health and wellbeing initiatives, and access to courses run by our Organisational Development & Professional Learning team.
