About the Role:

At Lakes Region Community Services, we are seeking passionate individuals to provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorder in a shared family living setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily living support to individuals, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Accompany individuals on medical appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorder is highly desirable.
  • Able to work independently, as part of a team, and under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
