Job Title: Digital Partnerships Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Partnerships Director to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a key member of our Digital Media business, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, strategic vision, and management of partnerships with external media companies and technology providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with external partners, including advertisers, agencies, and 3rd party solution providers.
  • Develop and grow relationships with external partners to gain a strong understanding of their business, product, and strategy.
  • Oversee the development and management of technical solutions, contracts, data protection approvals, and payments.
  • Manage media partners, including Google, Meta, TTD, Sky, and Channel 4, and data partners, including vendors who allow our data to be surfaced with various marketing partners.

Requirements:

  • Industry, commercial, and business development experience.
  • Proven experience in Digital Media space with strong, provable technical / data knowledge across a broad spectrum of media, including display, social media, video, and CTV.
  • Knowledge of media buying and evaluations, including programmatic and direct buying, adtech, and media evaluation.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, interpersonal, and influencing skills, together with the ability to work independently and work alongside many teams across the business.
  • Strong project management skills to plan and execute the development of existing and roll out of new partnerships.
