Facilities Coordinator

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a School Site Manager. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our school premises.

The Role
- You will be responsible for maintaining and operating heating, lighting, and boiler plant/equipment, ensuring prompt reporting and resolution of any faults.
- Assist with planning and overseeing minor building works and repairs, including obtaining quotes, liaising with suppliers, and monitoring service level agreements.
- Provide regular progress updates and offer advice to the head teacher/facilities manager on minor building works and repairs.
- Take delegated responsibility for ensuring compliance with statutory regulations related to asbestos, PAT testing, and legionella testing, as well as conducting risk assessments.
- Ensure the security of the school premises and its contents.
- Supervise cleaning staff and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Respond to emergencies such as intruders, fire, or floods.
Your Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, able to adapt their approach to suit different personalities and needs. You should have good organizational skills, be able to manage your time effectively, and communicate well with contractors and stakeholders. A welcoming and friendly demeanor is essential.
