Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Senior Records Lead to support the Records Management team in the Nuclear Power Programme. The successful candidate will have experience of managing records and documentation in a major project environment and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with organisational requirements and regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Records Leads to ensure effective delivery of records management activities
  • Interface with regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliance with organisational requirements and regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement arrangements to ensure compliance with organisational requirements to support Nuclear Site Licence and Permit compliance processes
  • Accountable to the Documents and Records Manager for all quality delivery activities within the team
  • Recruit, appoint and line manage Records Leads, including professional and skills development
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators and measurement, monitoring and reporting of quality records performance of the projects and supply chain to the business

Requirements

  • Experience of managing a team from different backgrounds
  • Knowledge and experience gained from a specific discipline, preferably qualified to HNC level as a minimum
  • Weld inspection qualifications, such as CSWIP 3.1 and PCN level 2
  • NDT techniques, such as MPI, DPI and Rad Interp, with CSWIP level 2 and PCN level 2 qualifications
  • Coatings qualifications, such as NACE level 2
  • Electrical qualifications, such as JIB and Compex
  • Civils experience, including heavy civils
  • Experience of interfacing with project teams and supply chain organisations
  • Implementation and management of records/document and data/information management methodologies and tools within a major project environment
  • Understanding and application of the Quality process applicable to Records Management
