Job Title: Office Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team at the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. As the first point of contact for our office, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operational requirements of the office, including health and safety, facilities, and operational management.
  • Oversee the receptionist duties and provide administrative support to the team.
  • Identify ways to improve the office experience through facilities, health and safety, and IT support solutions.
  • Manage the third-party MSP, Cyber, and IT policies, and work with the IT consultant to enhance cyber protection and monitor employee training.
  • Contract, vendor, and insurance management.
  • GDPR representative for the department.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in office/facilities management.
  • Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Outlook and Excel skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365 system and cloud-based systems.
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall certification.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH certification.
  • Strong line management skills.
  • Previous experience with Cyber Essentials accreditation.
  • Diverse technology competencies and an interest in IT/digital implementation and support.
  • Understanding of budget/reforecasting experience.
