About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our team at Hca Cancer Network. As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a critical role in supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment across our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the psychological needs of patients and apply appropriate psychological treatment, including referral to psychiatry as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on psycho-oncology and end-of-life care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to psycho-oncology and end-of-life care.
Requirements
  • Registered Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Knowledge of cancer and its management, including psycho-oncology and end-of-life care.
  • Experience working in a cancer treatment setting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Advanced communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • British Psychological Society (BPS) Membership.
