Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our patients and their families.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and a proven track record of delivering evidence-based interventions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical pathways, providing supervision and training to junior staff, and contributing to the development of our service.

Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical pathways for patients with complex psychological needs, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Provide supervision and training to junior staff, including clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our service, including the design and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients, including medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our patients, families, and carers, providing empathetic and person-centered care.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Proven experience in delivering evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other specialized therapies.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and training junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
