Job Title: Senior Clinical Psychologist - Paediatric Psychology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to children, young people, and families living with a range of dermatological disorders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to children, young people, and families living with dermatological disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with the dermatology team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice in the field of paediatric psychology.
  • Supervise junior psychologists and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to paediatric psychology.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Eligibility for Chartered status and membership of the Division of Clinical Psychology.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council as Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with dermatological disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
