Rail Sector Maintenance Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in the rail sector, offering an exciting field-based position.

The successful candidate will be based in Wiltshire and required to travel across the area, mainly working from Salisbury.

As a Rail Sector Maintenance Specialist, you will receive a basic salary of £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience for a 45-hour week on a rota (6 weeks in advance).

The role includes a van, fuel paid, accommodation if required to stay away on jobs, and an additional paid on-call element.

  • Frequent travel and occasional overnight stays away from home are required.
  • First-line customer complaints handling, providing support as necessary and escalating issues at the earliest opportunity.
Key Requirements
  1. Mechanical and/or Electrical Experience/Qualifications are essential.
  2. Some Electrical Experience is desirable.
  3. A valid Driver's Licence is required. Prior to starting any work within the sector, applicants must pass Medical Drug & Alcohol Screenings.

We estimate the total remuneration package for this role to be around £55,000-£60,000 per annum, including benefits and bonuses.
