We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Phoenix Medical Centre. This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate patient records.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with the public, as part of a team, and preferably in an administration or reception role. A GCSE in English and Maths is essential, and NVQ Level 2 in business administration or customer services would be desirable.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, and health service professionals. You will act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the practice and ensure that enquiries are efficiently and courteously handled.

Key responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors, handling payments, managing appointments, producing repeat prescriptions, and maintaining patient records. You will also be required to participate in activities required by CQC registration and undergo further training as needed.
