Medical Receptionist and Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist and Administrator to join our team at Phoenix Medical Centre. This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week on a practice rota basis, Monday to Friday between 8am to 6:30pm.
Job Overview:The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience working in a fast-paced office environment being advantageous. The successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with patient queries face-to-face, via telephone, and digitally, as well as inviting patients in for annual reviews and investigations.
A competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Open and prepare the practice punctually in the morning and lock up in the evening.
- Assist patients on the phone, electronically, and in person, ensuring patients are at ease and giving any explanations within your competency.
- Care Navigation - Signposting patients to the correct service to ensure that they receive the right care first time as per reception triage protocol.
- GCSE in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Services.
