Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Autism Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd in Abingdon. In this role, you will provide essential support to children with Autism who face communication challenges.

About the Role
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with Autism, helping them with daily tasks, classroom activities, and communication development.
  • Support children to develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence.
  • Create an inclusive, supportive, and structured environment that promotes learning and healthy social interactions.
  • Work closely with Speech and Language Therapists to implement personalized learning plans and communication strategies.
Requirements
  • A degree in Psychology or Criminology is desirable.
  • You should be a compassionate and patient individual with a desire to help vulnerable children.
  • Experience working in a similar role or experience with SEN would be beneficial but not essential.
