About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Care and Support Specialist to join our team at SeeAbility. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have a calm and patient nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with the people we support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Daily Care and Support: Providing assistance with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks to ensure our service users receive high-quality care.
  • Building Relationships: Getting to know the individuals we support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
  • Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
  • Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone can enjoy what they love doing.
