Learning Support Specialist

**Job Description:**
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Austin Fraser. As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of a non-verbal Year 2 student with Autism and a Global Development diagnosis.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff. A strong understanding of SEN needs, particularly Autism and Global Development, is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to the student in a KS1 setting
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience supporting students with SEN needs
- Safeguarding training and enhanced DBS
- Able to work full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 3:30pm)
