As a Senior Social Worker with Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing caseloads and working with children and families in Berkshire. Your expertise will be essential in contributing to service planning and ensuring the best possible outcomes for vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an allocated caseload, including complex assessments and statutory requirements, to ensure timely interventions and effective support.
  • Work within West Berkshire policies and guidelines, upholding the highest standards of practice and promoting excellence in social work.
  • Collaborate with children, families, carers, and communities to inform decisions and contribute to service planning, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Stay up-to-date with contemporary issues in children's social work, including legislation and evidence-based practice, to deliver informed and effective interventions.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to inform assessment and care planning activities, promoting seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in planning and reviewing cases of children in care, child protection, and support fostering/adoption arrangements, ensuring the needs of all parties are met.
  • Provide constructive challenge to enhance practice, procedures, and policies, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Model and facilitate reflective and evidence-informed practice, empowering others to adopt best practices and achieve exceptional outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent, demonstrating a solid foundation in social work principles and practices.
