Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is a leading recruitment agency providing innovative solutions for the social sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our CAAS (MASH) Team on a Full Time basis in Berkshire.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with a salary up to £45,441 per annum. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing an allocated caseload, including complex assessments of children, families, and parenting, as well as other statutory requirements.
Main Responsibilities- Caseload Management: You will manage an allocated caseload appropriate to your extensive experience, including complex assessments of children, families, and parenting, and other statutory requirements.
- Policy Implementation: You will work within West Berkshire policies, procedures, and good practice guidelines to meet the needs of children and families allocated.
- Community Engagement: You will work with children, young people, families, carers, and communities to help make informed decisions, enable change, and contribute to service planning.
- Continuing Professional Development: You will keep up-to-date with contemporary issues in children's social work, including legislation and evidence-based practice, and use this to inform working practice.
- Liaison and Collaboration: You will liaise with colleagues in own and other directorates, as well as external agencies, to gather information, inform assessment and care planning activities, jointly plan and deliver interventions.
- Case Planning and Review: You will participate in planning/reviewing the cases of children in care, child protection, and support fostering/adoption arrangements.
- Quality Assurance: You will provide constructive challenge to enhance practice, procedures, and policies, promote innovation, and introduce new ways of working.
- Knowledge Sharing: You will model and facilitate reflective and evidence-informed practice, contributing to the development of knowledge and promotion of excellence in the field.
