Job Description

As a Family Welfare Specialist, you will provide an efficient and effective service to children, young people, and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the needs of children and their parents/carers, ensuring that their requirements are met through a holistic approach. This involves developing practice that takes into account individual circumstances, including immediate and extended social circles.

You will be expected to comply with Equal Opportunities good practice, implementing policies and procedures that promote diversity and inclusion. Additionally, you'll ensure that all case management adheres to statutory requirements and Council policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess a social work qualification or equivalent. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
