Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmology Imaging Assistant to join our team at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust FT. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow, develop, and excel in your career.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialized clinical diagnostic imaging procedures with the highest possible standards and reproducibility.
- Accurately enter patient data into imaging platforms to ensure correct patient identification.
- Collaborate with specialist Ophthalmic Consultants, Optometrists, and Nursing staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and care pathways.
- Develop a detailed understanding of eye anatomy and physiology, as well as ophthalmic conditions, to provide accurate imaging representation.
- Conduct visual field and visual acuity testing for diagnosis and treatment.
- Assess patients' ability to meet DVLA requirements for visual fields and visual acuity.
