School Setting:

Our primary school in Wellingborough is looking for a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 3 pupil who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will have experience working with children with ASD in a school setting, ideally within Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for providing tailored support to enhance learning and engagement, and for tracking and reporting the pupil's progress. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training, and full assistance with Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with children with ASD in a school setting, ideally within Key Stage 2.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build a trusting relationship with the child, encouraging their growth and participation.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week), or £85 per day
