Are you an experienced Teacher looking for a new challenge in a SEN school in Wellingborough?

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a passionate faculty on a temp to perm basis.

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work with higher ability SEN pupils, optimising individual progress in a small class group of ten pupils.

The successful Teacher will work closely with three Teaching Assistants, with the majority of pupils having ASC, making experience with Autism highly beneficial for this role.

Senior leadership are expecting good behavioural management and a keen understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to SEN pupils in KS1
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants to optimise individual progress
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Management strategies to promote a positive classroom environment
  • Contribute to the development of the school's SEN curriculum

What We Offer:

  • Full-time role with an immediate start
  • Daily rate pro-rata from M1-UPS3 pay scale (£28,000 – £43,685)
  • Opportunity to move onto a school-based contract following a successful trial period
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher with experience working with SEN pupils
  • Good Behavioural Management skills and understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Ability to work closely with Teaching Assistants
