About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Accelerate CIC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality wound and lymphoedema care to patients in our community services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the skilled delivery of wound and lymphoedema care in our community services.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead to develop and implement innovative community-based solutions.
  • Provide excellent and structured development programmes for patients and staff.
  • Be a contributory member of the team, helping to advance both the service and our mission.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • First-level Registered Nurse qualification.
  • Current NMC Registration or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year's nursing experience post-qualification.
  • Clinical experience of patients with long-term conditions.
  • Experience of wound assessment and management.
  • Experience of lower limb leg ulcerations and general lymphoedema management.
  • Experience and knowledge of a variety of compression bandaging.
  • Experience of working within a team.
  • Knowledge of professional issues in healthcare.
