We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Accelerate CIC. As a Community Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality wound and lymphoedema care to our patients in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled care and management to patients with wounds and lymphoedema in a thoughtful, creative, and timely manner.
- Champion the delivery of all aspects of the service, including the creation of efficiencies and productive working.
- Provide daily management within the leg ulcer clinics and homes across the borough.
- Encourage individualized care that enables people to tolerate treatments and thereby improve outcomes.
- Enhance the delivery of Quality improvement initiatives, KPIs, and internal audit.
- Bring critique to internal and external systems, creating positive change through effective team working.
- First-level Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration or Equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year's nursing experience post-qualification.
- Clinical experience of patients with long-term conditions.
- Experience of wound assessment and management.
- Experience of lower limb leg ulcerations and general lymphoedema management.
- Experience and knowledge of a variety of compression bandaging.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Knowledge of professional issues in healthcare.
