Community Wound Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Accelerate CIC. As a Community Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality wound care services to our patients in Tower Hamlets and City and Hackney.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled care and management to patients with acute and hard-to-heal wounds
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to the delivery of innovative community-based solutions and provide an excellent and structured development programme
- Participate in the development of a cohesive team and support the Clinical Lead in achieving team objectives
Requirements
- First-level Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year's nursing experience post-qualification, with clinical experience of patients with long-term conditions
- Experience of wound assessment and management, including lower limb leg ulcerations and general lymphoedema management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
