We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Accelerate CIC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality wound and lymphoedema care to our patients in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the skilled delivery of wound and lymphoedema care in our community services
- Provide excellent and structured development programmes for patients and staff
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and other teams to meet the needs of clients
- Undertake clinical skills as directed in a shared plan of care, enabling clients, their families, and carers to be involved in the prevention and management of wounds and lymphoedema
- First-level Registered Nurse
- Current NMC Registration or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year's nursing experience post-qualification
- Clinical experience of patients with long-term conditions
- Experience of wound assessment and management
- Experience of lower limb leg ulcerations and general lymphoedema management
- Experience and knowledge of a variety of compression bandaging
- Experience of working within a team
- Knowledge of professional issues in healthcare
