Our client's largest defence contract, valued at £60Bn, requires a Senior Commercial Officer to join their Commercial team. As a vital member of the team, you will collaborate closely with Commercial Executives to deliver high-quality commercial services that meet the operational requirements of the Programme.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary up to £55K + Excellent Corporate Package, including benefits such as a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, Company contributed Share Incentive Plan, flexible working, employee assistance programme, Cycle2work, and employee discounts.

Job Description

You will be responsible for producing and submitting commercial deliverables in line with the contract requirements. This includes supporting the generation and commercial management documentation requirements for bids/change proposals and governance in accordance with company procedures. Additionally, you will provide commercial guidance and instructions to the project team and other internal stakeholders regarding the Implementation bid/contract and other related work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have good knowledge of Commercial Contract principles, techniques, and practices. Experience working with contracts, ideally in a commercial role, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a broad experience during the first 12 months, working on the Implementation Contract Mobilisation and then moving on to Contract delivery.
