About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Residential Childcare Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working alongside our Manager to ensure our service users receive the highest standard of care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Manager to deliver high-quality care and support services.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, encouraging them to participate fully in opportunities offered within the home.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as Local Authorities and Health/Social Care professionals, to ensure seamless support services.
- Conduct regular key work sessions with young people and produce detailed reports.
- Ensure the effective safeguarding of young people within your care and report any concerns promptly.
- Assist young people with daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and attending medical appointments.
Competitive Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary of £31,716.25 per year, paid at a rate of £12.50 per hour for 155 contracted working hours per month. You will also receive additional pay for sleeps ins at £60 per night and on-call cover at £35 per night.
