About the Role

Medsolve is seeking a skilled Residential Care Worker to provide exceptional care and support in a children's home located in Coalville.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the young person's care plans, risk assessments, and their review and implementation.

Key responsibilities include forming effective relationships with young people, their families (if applicable), and external agencies.

We are looking for an individual who can maintain a clean and tidy environment, adhering to our cleaning rota system, and encouraging young people to participate as appropriate.

A strong focus on record-keeping is essential, ensuring accurate documentation with supervision and guidance from shift managers and senior staff.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, consistent with Ofsted expectations.

Requirements
  • Experience in a children's home setting is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins, with a rota provided in advance.
  • A full UK driving license is desirable.
  • Candidates must be over 21 years old to meet regulatory requirements.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent is necessary.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £34,271 per year, including sleeps, paid at £60 per night.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, working between 9:30am and 11pm, with sleeps included in the salary.
