About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our 3-bed Learning Disabilities service in Coalville. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations while fostering a supportive and settled environment for our young person and staff team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management:
  • Provide effective leadership and management to the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Maintain the home's Ofsted GOOD rating and strive for continuous improvement.
Care and Support:
  • Advocate for the young person and ensure their needs are met.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of the young person.
  • Foster a sense of belonging and stability within the home.
Development and Expansion:
  • Support the planning and development of a new home next door.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Level 5 Management Diploma
  2. Experience in managing a residential care home, preferably with a focus on learning disabilities
  3. Strong leadership and management skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The salary for this role is approximately £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus of up to £4,800 per annum.
