The role of Housing Support Officer with Service Care Solutions in Coalville offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to provide essential support services for tenants in supported independent living properties and sheltered housing.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing tenant needs, creating personalized support plans, and regularly reviewing progress to ensure their well-being is maintained.

You will facilitate social, health, and well-being activities within sheltered housing schemes, providing guidance and advice to tenants on accessing local statutory, voluntary, and private services.

Liaising with internal teams and external agencies is crucial to coordinate comprehensive support, participating in case conferences, and maintaining effective communication with tenants' families and GPs.

In addition, you will maintain high standards of health, safety, and customer satisfaction, staying up-to-date with specialist knowledge, such as dementia awareness.

This position requires prior experience in a similar role within supported housing or independent living services. You should possess knowledge of housing and social care services, including statutory entitlements, and strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple daily visits and activities.

The ideal candidate will also have proven ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring seamless delivery of support services.

We offer a competitive salary of £17.18 per hour (LTD) / £14.65 per hour (PAYE, inc holiday) making this an attractive opportunity for those seeking a challenging and rewarding role.
