About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Benefits Risk Manager to join our Global Benefits Risk & Compliance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits, compliance, or risk management and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The Senior Benefits Risk Manager will be responsible for managing global risk activities related to employee benefits, including researching legal and regulatory obligations, working with project teams, and monitoring the effectiveness of controls.

Responsibilities
  • Design, administer, and test global health, wellness, and other related employee benefit programs.
  • Research legal and regulatory obligations with local labor and employment attorneys.
  • Work with project teams to translate legal and regulatory obligations into system or process requirements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of controls designed to meet obligations on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor known and emerging risks and develop and own action items to remediate identified risk issues.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Amazon employee benefits programs and operations and provide consult to benefits stakeholders.
  • Draft written narratives to communicate obligations, risk analyses, and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a benefits, compliance, or risk management role.
Benefits
  • $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
