Job Summary:

The Senior Employee Benefits Strategist will be responsible for managing global employee benefits programs and ensuring compliance with local legislation and adaptations of global benefits programs and strategies to local markets, rules, regulation, and cultural nuances/sensitivities to mitigate any potential risks. This includes developing deep knowledge of Amazon employee benefits programs and operations and providing consult to benefits stakeholders to ensure compliance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and monitor known and emerging risks; and develop and own action items to remediate identified risk issues. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required for this role. Experience in benefits management, preferably in a multinational organization or consulting firm, is highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $125,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with global legal and HR policy, process, and system owners to ensure that sound protocols are in place to mitigate the risks inherent in employee benefits programs and activities.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Amazon employee benefits programs and operations and provide consult to benefits stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor known and emerging risks; and develop and own action items to remediate identified risk issues.
