Educational Therapist

We are seeking an Educational Therapist to join our team and provide mental health support to young people in a specialist school near Woking.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to supporting the mental health of young people and experience working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting.

This role requires someone who is knowledgeable about mental health, has strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work as part of a team.

Graduates in Psychology, Criminology or Counselling would also be well-suited for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify risks and needs of students and escalate where necessary
  • To provide consistent support and build strong relationships with students
  • To equip students with tools to manage their mental health and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • A commitment to supporting the mental health of young people
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting
  • Knowledge of mental health and wellbeing strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
