About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Surrey, providing high-quality care to patients in acute settings.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions, including ADL training, cognitive rehabilitation, mobility enhancement, and environmental adaptation. They will also maintain comprehensive patient records and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and efficient discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to patients in acute settings
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate discharge planning
  • Provide training and education to patients and their families on post-discharge activities and self-management strategies
  • Conduct clinical supervision and mentorship to junior OTs and therapy assistants
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with full HCPC registration in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience (for Band 6) or 5+ years (for Band 7) in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
  • Advanced clinical skills in acute assessment, ADL training, cognitive and physical rehabilitation, and discharge planning
